“The Battlemind course pairs up the firearms program, created nearly five years ago by Austin dance teacher Julianna Crowder with a group of former Green Berets who use years of battlefield combat and teaching experience.
“We are teaching the physiological aspects of shooting and decision making,” said Scott Neil, a retired Army Green Beret master sergeant and founder of Operator, which is providing the practical and classroom instruction. “We teach what to do and when to do it.”
